Forza horizon 5 stuck on preparing 0% on xbox app

When I try to Download either forza horizon 5 premium edition or standard it just gets stuck on preparing 0%, I have tried repairing and reseting the Xbox app, the Microsoft store and the gaming services and that didn't work so I tried some powershell commands I saw online that didn't work either. I tried logging out and back I'm on both Xbox app and Microsoft store and ofcourse that didn't work either so as a last resort I tried factory reseting my pc and that doesn't help either it still gets stuck at preparing 0%.
I did not pay a whole bunch of money for premium edition to then not be able to download it so if anyone can please help.

I am taking over since I have exactly the same problem as Alexander. I tried all the same things like he did with no luck. And since one of the latest updates the Windows Store always wants to install Forza through the xbox app. So there is no secondary way to install the game. Besides: this happens to ALL my bought and owned games, not only Forza. The Game Pass Games on the other hand work...

Wow.. I've read a suggestion here at the forums to set my Windows Region to UK instead of Germany. And indeed that helped. But really? This is the solution? Please fix your app....

If you cancel this download and open the Microsoft Store App and try to download it there, does it behave the same?

Hi Davidona! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

Reboot PC

After that follow this steps:

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.
