Forza horizon 5 pc error "0x12c"

2. Try resetting the Xbox app on your PC. To do this, please follow the steps here: Repair apps and programs in Windows - Microsoft Support.



3. If resetting the Xbox app doesn't work, try reinstalling the game.

• Is the issue happening to other games?
  
• Is Forza Horizon 5 installed from Xbox app?
  
• How about the games installed from Xbox app and Microsoft Store? Did error code appear too?

I reinstalled Forza Horizon 4 without any problems.Only Forza Horizon 5 will have an error.

Yes. Other games are OK.

Forza horizon 4 is OK too. But I bought it.

And Forza horizon 5 uses Game Pass.

I can start Forza 5 on my PC, can not start on Xbox serious S.

Forza cannot be opened anymore (the error popup window redirects to the ms-store which forza cannot be opened from either), and the xbox launcher won't launch. Microsoft Store looking for updates runs forever.

UPDATE:
I reinstalled Xbox GameServices and now the game starts again with the error code 0x12c as before
