Forza horizon 5 not working neither on xbox nor on pc with my account

Hi

I have been facing the following problem: I cannot log into my Forza Horizon 5 game with my account. After starting up the game, in the main menu I press start game and after a few seconds of loading it crashes without any error code or description. I tried to log in with another account, which actually worked. The interesting thing is that I face this issue both on xbox and on pc. My account cannot log into the game, it crashes on both devices right after pressing "start game". On pc i get multiple error codes which can only be seen in the event viewer. These codes are sometimes 0xc0000409 or 0xc0000005. I'm pretty sure that the issue is somehow in connection with my account, because only my account is not working, another one is fine on my pc and xbox as well. I've tried all troubleshooting methods like reinstalling, repairing via control panel, resetting it, but none of these had solved the problem. I'm logged into microsoft store and xbox companion with the same account, which I'm experiencing the problem with. The stress should be on the fact that my pc is probably not the source of the problem because it is experienced on xbox as well.

They just sent me to microsoft support so i tell them my problem but i cannot find a way to reach a customer service agent. Posting to the forum was the only way or calling them. I can’t believe that there is no way to write a simple e-mail to microsoft. I paid a lot for this game and now i can’t play or get in touch with an associate.

Hi there All welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Well, I suggest you try this:

Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC!

This sometimes help with account issues!

Yes, for example i’ve tried fh4 which was ok. Really strange.

I tried your method but I'm afraid this didn't work for me

In my opinion there has to be something out of my pc, since it isn't working on xbox as well.
