Forza Horizon 5 not launching Steam

Good morning,

I have an issue with Forza Horizion 5 premium edition.

With last patch or windows updates i can't play the game any more.

Every time i try to lauch the game it crush.

I see the FH5 icon then the process shut down a few seconds later.

I tried to contant the FH support and they told me to contact microsoft support.

I tried to unistall game and also steam.

Update windows.

Update drivers.

Run as administrator.

Install visual c++.

Clear steam cache.

Check directx

But the game is still not launching...

Below is my setup

GIGABYTE RTX2070 SUPER

I7-9700K

16 GB RAM

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

On Xbox, it's Forza Horizon 5. On Steam I tried Payday 2, on Epic I tried some random game I forgot.

Thank you for your response. If you want to play the game Forza Horizon 5 on the Xbox app, you will need to purchase the Xbox game version on the Microsoft Store:

Since you have purchased the game on Steam, you can only play it on the Steam Launcher. You won't be able to find your Steam games on the Xbox app library as they have their respective launchers.

Remember that Steam and Xbox PC are 2 different gaming clients.
