    forza horizon 5 keeps shutting my pc down i dont know why?


    since the rally update, every time i tired to play the new expansion, the game not only crashes but turns my entire pc off. i dont see any precursor to crashing like stalling or screen tearing or freezing ...jus simply disconnects my controllecter and shuts my pc down. Does not matter if i am in free roam or in a race it shuts everything down and as a result i have not been able to play the game since the last update

    I have uploaded a specs sheet i am currently running ( the gpu driver is intentionally downgraded )

    i have tried latest gpu drivers doesnt solve the problem

    windows 10 and yes all my apps were updated. i havent tried the clean boot yet may actually be my last resort

    Give that a try to see if you notice a difference.

    By the way, another thing that you can try is connecting your PC directly to the wall or in another room. This in case it is not receiving enough power

    But before that please tell me:

    Are you using Windows 10 or 11?
    Are you playing the game using the Xbox app or Steam?

    In the meantime please check if your system and all the apps related to gaming are up to date.
    You can check for windows updates via PC Settings > Update & Security > Windows update
    And you can check for app updates opening the Microsoft store

    If all your system is up to date, please try each possible solution below:

    1. Open task manager and go to the startup tab, once there click "disable" on each app listed there
    After that Restart the PC and see if the problem is solved

    2. Do a clean boot in your Windows PC. For that please follow this article
