Forza Horizon 5 keeps crashing

The game keeps crashing right when the intro races finish and it goes to load character creation i looked and i get this error code 0xc0000096 now i tried to fix it using SFC and it still didn't work i updated my windows 10 version i went from 20h1 to 21h1 ran SFC again and it still doesn't work i have the game on steam so i use it to validate files and all are good and according to event viewer its an issue with windows but i have no clue what's wrong with it

Try running Forza Horizon 5 as an administrator. It fixed my random crashes.

Hi Joakim,

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

It doesn't run for me either. Windows 11 + Forza Horizon 4 or 5 = Crash and Burn
