Forza Horizon 5 Friends and players tab

Just as a reminder, the Horizon 5 servers are going through some issues at the moment, causing gamers to be disconnected from Horizon life, and also, its features to no work as they should.

Also, please, try this test:

Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the main screen.

Select Settings > Games, then select Xbox Network.

In Xbox Live Multiplayer, check Nat Type.

If anything like:

"Teredo can't qualify" "Server connection blocked" or "Unavailable NAT" comes up, try to configure your router that way:

Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Besides, ask them to put their PC's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

To locate the IP of your PC: On the taskbar, select Wi-Fi network > the Wi-Fi network you're connected to > Properties.

Under Properties, look for your IP address listed next to IPv4 address.

The update only solved the problem with the xbox app not starting but forza horizon 5 is still not showing up in the group posts tab

This is what helped me and got Forza to download.
1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.
