Forza Horizon 5 Failed to launch and now can't install

I have two 1tb SSDs. A C: drive and D: drive. Got the error on both of them. Created a 178gb partition off of the D: drive and tried to install it to the partition. Still got the error. Considering the install gives an error on more than one device, I don't think it is a drive problem.

Try reinstalling Gaming Services using powershell command again

Press Windows key + X and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Type or copy / past the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Restart the PC and Open the Xbox application.

A blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:
"This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again

I don't think that it's that. Although supposedly I'm not the expert, this exact issue is happening to me, albeit with slightly different error codes. Except instead of me reinstalling, the game just simply stopped being detected as a game once I manually cancelled an update.

Edit: In case you were wondering, the download error code I'm receiving is 0x800704C6. However, I can't get the failure to launch code nymore because Windows doesn't think it's installed anymore.

We can try troubleshooting the wifi network to see if that makes a difference.

Can you try using a completely different network?
For example sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your PC in that way

If you're not able to test a different network right now
Please try reinstalling your wifi and ethernet adapter via Device Manager (download first the latest drivers available from the manufacturer site)

If that doesn't work try using a different DNS address :

If that doesn't work, Open the Control Panel in Windows.
After opening the control panel, set the “View by” on the top-right corner to “Large icons“.
Click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option.
Here, click on the “Change adapter settings” link on the left panel.
Now, right-click on the active network adapter and select “Properties“.
Go to the “Networking” tab.
Here, uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” option.
Click on the “Ok” button to save changes.
Then close all the windows, restart your PC and try again
