Forza horizon 5 Exception code: 0xc0000005

Hello all,

As title says that is my error code when the game crashes.

I have tried every possible solution you can find on forums, websites, etc.

I ended up formatting the computer. As soon as Windows started I updated all the drivers, and did all the necessary updates and yet with only Forza Horizon 5 installed the error persists.

I really need help as I don't know what to do anymore! Basically are 100€ thrown in the trash, this is just ridiculous...

I have this issue on PC as soon as I enter free mode.

The game works fine on my XB1X

I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps in the article, and Forza support tells me to contact microsoft support.

Yeah, sorry about that. I just updated my first post to include the above update, please let me know here if this works for you so others will know and try as well.

I actually work for Microsoft, not in the gaming area, but i do tech support for another product so i tend to think about this kind of stuff from that perspective, the more people that see this and try it and it works for them, the fewer will be stuck twiddling their thumbs wishing they were laying rubber on the road in FH5.

I have completely formatted my computer with a new Windows 11 image. I have updated all the drivers and made the necessary updated, installed Forza and have the exactly Dame error.

This is unacceptable, the problem is from Microsoft and I expect at least an answer to my problem!

I found out my problem!! All I had to do was down clock my ram frequency and it stopped all errors and blue screens. If you are experiencing problems try going into your bios and lowering you ram frequency a tiny bit and see if it works.
