Forza horizon 5 duplicating screen

Hello Kathy,

I will be glad to answer the questions, I just wanted to correct one thing by saying the problem is not fixed by restarting the game. I have to restart my laptop completely.

1) The second screenshot is the forza horizon 5 pause screen and the third one (the one that is green) is my desktop when I "alt + tab" from the game and went to discord.

2) My laptop is not customized. It is vanilla (stock) windows 10.

3) I have never been part of Xbox/Windows insider.

4) I have never changed the contrast settings in my laptop.

5) All my drivers are up to date. There was actually a forza horizon 5 update yesterday which after downloading and playing the game, the glitch (double screen) did not occur for a long time. I was able to play about a hour before the glitch happened again. Usually before this update the glitch sometimes happened instantly upon launching or within the first 15-30 mins of play.

Thank you for the update regarding your issue. We know you were looking forward for a fix of this so you will get back to gaming. What I can recommend is for you to upgrade/downgrade your graphics driver (How to get software and driver updates for Windows 10) then last resort will be contacting your laptop's manufacturer.

However, let us seek assistance from Windows team to make sure you will be assisted with any steps needed related to graphics driver or anything they can help with your concern. We will move this thread to Windows category.

I played the game again today and when the duplication glitch happened I pressed CTRL + SHIFT + ESC and opened the task manager, however it did not effect the glitch at all, I saw the task manager also duplicated.

I tried recording the glitch with ShadowPlay by Nvidia and it still did not record the glitch. According to that video there is no problem with the glitch just like when i live streamed with my friends.

If you were doing share screen and record your game using Xbox Game Bar which resulted to no issue with the game display in the system. That means the issue happens with the graphics or laptop display. In that case, we need to test if the issue will happen if you try to launch the Task Manager while the screen is duplicating. Please press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard and see if the issue still persist.

You may also try using different screen recording to test if the issue will be recorded and is showing in system itself or just the display of your laptop. If it happens, you may need to contact the laptop's manufacturer or install an update or downgrade your graphics driver.

I will not be able to record it from the start till the game does have the problem because the amount of time it takes is completely random. Sometimes it happens as soon as the game launches and other times takes an hour. When i try to record using gamebar it does not work. In game bar it records as if there is no problem and still has only the one display.

Also I screenshared it on discord to my friends and thats why i asked is this completely normal, because to them as well it looked perfectly normal just the one screen without duplication.
