Forza Horizon 5 - Download Will Not Start

    Forza Horizon 5 - Download Will Not Start


    I started to pre-load Forza Horizon 5 when it was available but it was interrupted, I don't remember if the computer was shut down or if it was paused when I started playing something else. Because of work, I haven't been back to my computer until tonight and the pre-load doesn't show up under "My Collection" in the Xbox app and when I try to start the download now, the green "Install" button on the landing page goes grey and says "Preparing", then in 10 to 15 seconds, it reverts back to the green "Install" button. I don't get an error code or anything that would help me troubleshoot.

    I've gone through all of the troubleshooting here: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-games-windows-10 including uninstalling and reinstalling the Gaming Services package through Powershell.

    I'm running Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19043, I've checked for all available updates through Windows Update and still can't seem to resolve the issue.

    Cant download Forza Horizon 5

    When u open forza horizon 5 standard edition page scroll down where you see forza horizon 5 game and download that...

    The download will start

    Dude Already game not open or setup. On download part is cancel it. For example Forza Horizon 5 Try Download and comming %1 . Then I want restart xbox one. after restart xbox one . Forza horizon download is disappear like never start it. Not take my storage size to. Like I never start to download this game. I try restart xbox one with other games when download but they resume the download. but Forza Horizon 5 Just dissapear like never start. Very interesting problem . But I really want fix this problem because FH5 more want to play game on xbox one

    Yes. Other games are OK.

    Forza horizon 4 is OK too. But I bought it.

    And Forza horizon 5 uses Game Pass.

    I can start Forza 5 on my PC, can not start on Xbox serious S.

    Why I cannot install Forza Horizon 4

    Thanks for the response, it seems to force me to download "Forza Horizon 4" first. When I click pause it's download and then try to start download on "Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition" it stays at "Downloading" and starts Downloading process of "Forza Horizon 4". I also tried logging into my account on different computer which worked.
