forza horizon 5 disables ethernet adapter

Every time I play this particular game using gamepass for PC

The Windows 11 Ethernet adapter gets disabled, completely without internet.

To troubleshoot I went to the adapter setting (Control panel > Network and sharing Center > Change adapter settings) and I clearly see the adapter disabled, in color gray.

I clicked to re enable but it will not produce any change, remains disabled.

If I go to ''Manage network adapter settings, the Media state, bytes, link speed and duration are gone as well, it is impossible to re enable the ethernet adapter.

The only solution is to restar the computer manually, if I attempt restarting normally whrough windows, it will never complete, it will only spin, loading forever, causing a OS malfuncftion but no errors.

I can play other gamepass games online with no issues, and Epic games also online like rocket league for hours with no issues.

Event Viewer shows nothing helpful.

Why a game would disable the entire PC connection to the internet?

Why only this game?

Why is it impossible to re enable the adapter?

Why Windows won't even restart normally after this event?

New Windows Install, fresh nothin in it, only FH5 and guess what?

The same stupid behavior. What is it? Why a Xbox ''GamePass'' game disables the Windows 11 adapter? Why?

Did you buy this card used?

I have found other cases of this problem on 1660 TI graphics cards, you should uninstall your drivers and reinstall them, Which apparently has solved the problem for most people. You should download a utility called GPU-Z And make sure that your graphics card is what do you think it is just to be sure. There’s been a lot of people flashing fake bios, especially on used cards, due tothe shortages.

It seems that disabling all adapters and leaving only the ethernet alone had been the best workaround I've found thanks to a commenter on other forum.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Do you have any other adapters running that are not visible in your screenshot? either physical or virtual.
