Forza Horizon 5 Crash's on Windows 10 & Windows 11 PC.

It doesn't run for me either. Windows 11 + Forza Horizon 4 or 5 = Crash and Burn

The URL you've hyperlinked is the same for both links. I can't find anywhere where it says Forza 5 does not run on Windows 11.

I'm not sure how you have lost access to your progress and in-app purchases, that is likely a separate issue. However, Windows 11 is not in beta, it's a full commercial release. It's been on general release since October 2021. Forza Horizon 5 is designed to run on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

There should no incompatibilities for games between Windows 10 and Windows 11. I'm a PC gamer and I play Forza Horizon 5 via Windows 11 and it's working perfectly.

I've been able to delete every rival notice that showed the Gap to Rival. However, I have three that won't display a time for the Gap to Rival. Trying to remove one of these DOES crash the game and then removes all other Rivals in the list.

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

A. I check every day, windows store, audio, video and windows are up to date. latest bios for MOBO. Latest drivers for Mobo

Then try this:



Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options. RESET

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Horizon 5 > click on it and select advanced options. RESET

A. Done

Doing the above two, cause the game to become unplayable.

Then, try to uninstall and install the game.

I've reinstalled the game 3 times, once to different drives. The game continues to work best on the game initially installed to. loads better, runs better crashes less. I've run into these issues with FH4 on an older system, sometimes having to format the system to even get hte game to work. Not sure why this is an issue with this title when I don't have anywhere nearly this number of problems with ANY TITLE. Just very odd. it has to be the overlay MS likes to use with this...

New windows 10 system format, all updated drivers installed and still seeing crash's during races and as always, deleting rivals.

Problem Continues to Exist.
