Forza Horizon 5 crashing on launch Code 0xc0000005

I Play a lot of FH5 but since the Donut Media update the game just wont launch.

I have tried for a month now every possible fix i could find

reinstalling

disabling overlays

repairing

microsoft store cache

and more but it just wont start i could run the game easy at high graphics 80 to 100 fps ( rtx 2060ti ) so i dont think that is the problem either

I've tried doing everything on the link you provided, but the game still doesn't work. Code error 0xc0000005 always in eventviewer.

Hello Dr, by its description it looks like you are playing on PC, try following the procedures below.

Fix Registry

Press ‘Windows + R’, type regedit, and hit ‘Enter’

Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\AppInit_Dlls

Double click LoadAppInit_DLLs and modify the value from 1 to 0

Click ‘OK’ to confirm the changes

Close the Registry Editor Window and restart the system

Check if the error still pops up when you try to launch an application.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press S on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

I was playing Forza Horizon 4, and it seems to crash a lot sooner for some reason, with the same error code 0xc0000005. It seems what I did, didn't fix the problem.

— Did you not see in the crash message a code like this: 0xc0000005?
— What are your hardware specifications?
— Are more games affected, or is just Forza Horizon 4?
