Forza Horizon 5 crashes on loading screen after pressing "continue"

Windows Exception Code: 0xc0000096

After the initial loading screens, and clicking on "Continue", game crashes on next splash screen. Every time. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, tried installing on a different drive, tried steam install vs game pass, performed clean boot with only Microsoft apps running. Made sure no apps running from troubleshooting page (my system had EVGA Precision running, and Logitech G hub). Tried running the game under a different (new) user account on Windows 11. Also tried install/reinstall on different drives (main Windows drive, as well as 2 other NVMe drives.)

Specs on PC are i9 12900k, 32GB DDR5 5300Mhz, RTX 3080 12GB, Gen 4 Nvme drives.

I don't know where else to go.

I've ran those commands before, but have done so again; same results. No change. SFC had found some issues, and I ended up running in a 2nd time to see if the errors persisted, and they are gone.

The game actually ran a couple days ago without issue, but as of today; the crash is still happening with a different error code 0xc000001d.

This error code (0xc0000096) is usually show when there are corrupted or missing Windows system files.

Please try to use the System File Checker and DISM to repair broken, corrupted or missing system files:

Go to Start > Search for Command Prompt > Right Click > Run as Administrator. Run one command at a time:

sfc /scannow
chkdsk /r
chkdsk /f
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

If chkdsk asks you to restart your computer to run it, please restart it and it will run on the next boot.

Still didnt work for sad its still crashing after pressing continue on loading screen

And i reinstalled it before and its from steam

I tried everything, but nothing worked. Looking in the event viewer:

Failed module name: nvwgf2umx.dll, version: 30.0.14.9649

Exception code: 0xc0000005

I looked for a solution, but it seems that this dll has been problematic for some time for some people. I didn't find any concrete way to fix it.
