FORZA HORIZON 5 | Bug | Game Breaking | Controller | PC | "CONTROLLER DISCONNECTED"

Hi guys,

yesterday I started playing Horizon 5. When I launched the game a popup came up, saying "CONTROLLER DISCONNECTED". I am playing with an Xbox One Controller (tried Cable and Dongle).

I pressed ALT TAB a few times and the popup went away, I went fullscreen again and played for 4 hours.
Today I wanted to start the game and got the same error. This time, I wasnt able to get it out of my side.
I tried:

different controller setups,

USB Ports,

Administrator Rights,

Workarounds using XBOX Overlay on PC (WIN+G) (worked to a degree)

Playing without controller connected -> I still got that damn message!

Things to note:
When I spam my ENTER Key, the window goes away. As long as i hold it down my game works, but is very laggy, unresponsive and not getting all my inputs on Controller. I can hold down ENTER and pull out my USB keyboard and could play, but it feels broken like that.

For some reason, Forza Horizon 5 causes controller issues..and I have no clue why. Every now and again, my controller completely disconnects before reconnecting...however, it has only ever done this with FH4 and FH5, not with any other games I play.

The controller is fine with other games on my pc. Only when playing forza horizon 4 this issue happens

Hi,

I bought the Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition and have a problem with the Xbox 360 Wirless Controller. It works fine in every other game. After disconnect due to inactivity I often get massages or the game pause itself. After reconnecting I can succesfully
use the controller again.

Unfortunately this does not work with Forza. Happened with Forza Motorsport 6 and Horizon 4. This is really annoying since I need to restart the game to get the controller working again.

Has anyone the same problem or perhaps even a solution?

I have had issues too with the Microsoft wireless controller for Xbox. This is needed to use any wireless device for the console on the PC.

Same problem as mudbiscuit and KSAnnihilation, My controller disconnects during forza horizon 2 and wont reconnect until i power cycle the console
