Forza Horizon 5 ban appeals

I've just picked up my 2nd ban, this time for a month. The first ban, my first ever, after digging around, I understood. I had gotten the classic Econoline van and made a livery that indicated one could receive sugary treats at no cost. After the ban and some digging, I understood. I created a ticket that was instantly closed and I accepted my punishment.

After the ban cleared, I made sure that the vehicle, livery, and saved vinyl groups were gone. That was last Thursday.

Today, I'm banned again, this time for a month. I really don't know why now. I have some vinyls related to the band Rush, one of which includes a star with a circle, maybe someone thought it was a pentagram? Maybe Rush2112 is an offensive license plate? Just to cover my bases, I've blanked everything. No plate, no custom liveries from anyone.

After my month is up, I'll delete those vinyls that I can't currently access. Then I'll hope that my gamer tag, , isn't the bannable offense.

At least it was "only" a 7 days ban for me.

And no, you don't get any warning or an explanation why you got a ban, just a generic "reason" from report list.

Yeah, the Rising Sun logo is a big no-no due to it's historical connotations...as is the General Lee flag so you can't make a Dukes of Hazard replica either.

As already mentioned - several tickets created on https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/requests/new were just closed without telling me any reason for ban. "Banned inquiry" tickets are instantly receiving "solved" status, without 0 actions taken. Tickets with "Others" topic will also be set on "solved" with copy-paste message redirecting you to ban history as a reply.
I play Forza Horizon titles for years and never got a ban cause I never downloaded or created any dumb liveries like "Free Candy" van or something.

All liveries I have seem harmless, but HOW should you know which livery caused a ban if Forza Support not even telling you exact reason for a ban? It's just ridiculous.

The scantily clad women in provocative poses: No surprise given the game is played by a lot of children and Xbox Live is an E for Everyone service. The punishment is extremely harsh for a first offense as it is normally a scale of punishments...however, knowing the Forza website as I do, I would not guarantee that the ban is the first one just because only one is listed...after all, Microsoft Enforcement website frequently shows no bans to those who have been banned and the Forza one is far inferior. And I'd take anything written in that article with a pinch of salt given the first sentence contains "told on Reddit about the bath in Forza Horizon 5"..there's typos and then there's a complete abscence of proof-reading

The above would contravene the following:

"Nudity or other sexual content, including in-game sexual content."

Scantily clad women in provocative poses would be included in that. I don't have a specific problem with it (having been a young adult in the 90s where the most popular car magazines had more scantily clad women than cars!)....if I had young children, can't say I'd want them subjected to it with no warning.

Tobacco brands: This one is a little murkier. I suspect that Turn 10 (the ones that investigate these things) take the view that cigarette logos for the sake of it is not allowed but if it is part of a historical livery (such as the iconic Marlboro liveries on Rally Cars in days gone), then it's okay. It's the same in Formula 1...cigarette advertising is not allowed but, at the same time, they do not ban the iconic liveries of the past when they run those historic cars.

Ultimately, the entire Turn 10 support needs an overhaul to better match the needs of the community...however, given how long it's been abysmal, that won't happen. It's not suprising when I see instances of people being banned from XBox/Microsoft without a proper explanation...after all, Turn 10 are an extension of Microsoft now so they will mirror MS/Xbox's way of doing things.
