Forza Horizon 5 Audio Issue..

I am trying to play Forza Horizon 5, and for some reason when my game loads up and I'm about to be in the menu, my headphones make a buzzing noise for a second, then disconnect from my pc, then reconnect, then keep disconnecting and reconnecting, I know it is the game but I don't know the problem and how to fix it, can anyone help me with this issue??

Hi,

I have the same issue as of today. The g920 works fine on Forza Horizon 4 but not on Forza Horizon 5 and slows down the game, interferes with the audio and is unresponsive.

Yesterday I had an audio issue similar to yours with an annoying beep coming from my headset (mine didn't disconnected though) so my solution was to uninstall the game, a hassle I know.

Please check your TV settings. Make sure that your TV is set to "Game Mode" to reduce input and audio lag because some TVs also have specific settings for audio delay that you can adjust.

Check audio output settings too. Ensure that your Xbox audio output settings match your setup (e.g., stereo, surround sound). A mismatched settings can sometimes cause delays.

And then update the game and console. Make sure both Forza Horizon 5 and your Xbox Series X are running the latest updates.

Next is to power cycle the Xbox by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds to perform a hard reset.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, uninstall and then reinstall Forza Horizon 5 because it can help resolve any corrupted files.
