Forza Horizon 4 won't start without game pass

I bought this game in the xbox store and I've been using it for a while now. Today I tried to start the game and it wont let me do so because i need my game pass renewed. Funny thing is I'VE NEVER USED THE GAME PASS BEFORE >:V!!!!

What really annoyed me was reading somewhere else that this was just an "isolated issue happening to one user" according to Microsoft..

The internet is full of people having this issue! what in the name of God you are talking about.

Yes. Other games are OK.

Forza horizon 4 is OK too. But I bought it.

And Forza horizon 5 uses Game Pass.

I can start Forza 5 on my PC, can not start on Xbox serious S.

Can you please go to
https://commerce.microsoft.com and check your order history if your order of Forza Horizon 4 shows up there, and if there were payment issues with your purchase?

If you see the order as being completed, and you still can't download Forza Horizon 4, you would have to contact the official support at
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

did you originally download and install FH4 from Gamepass?

you could try uninstalling then reinstalling from the copy you purchased

Did you purchase a redemption code from a third party that was added to your Microsoft account? If so,
sign into the Microsoft account website and review your purchase history. It will be under "Payments & billing". You can review every bit of content that has been purchased on or redeemed
to this account. If it's there, then you've got something to reach out to Customer Support with.
