Forza Horizon 4 stuck on installing screen (Xbox One)

I got to the part of the game where you get your first house, and since I played using the Ready To Start feature on Xbox One, it had to install some more. So I think, "Cool." and I leave to do something else. Before I leave I notice the progress bar is
actually at 100 percent already. But I just shrug it off as the game installing the last few parts.

Over 25 minutes later, it's still on the "Installing... Please wait" screen, with the slideshow of cars. It's actually still stuck as I write this. I'm worried I might lose save data if I turn it off, as I also don't know how frequently the game actually
saves. Someone please help!

Edit (Still not solved): I also got this game for Christmas, so it would really suck if there's no way to fix this!

Forza 4 horizon stuck in infinite Loading screen did EVERTHING was told by xbox to contact forza then forza told me to contact xbox WOW 🤪

also i bought All forms of forza 4 horizon thinking that might help ughhh No no help been a week now with no forza 😩

You won't lose any saved data. That's all saved to the cloud forever. You could wipe the whole Xbox and not lose a thing. It sounds like a corrupted download. You may want to uninstall whatever has downloaded so far. Clear local saved games ( Don't worry
you won't lose a thing) and the install again.

try to power cycle your xbox.the save should remain.

I've been stuck on loading game screen on forza horizon 4 since last update. Heard nothing back from any of the forza people or Microsoft. Full reset and reinstall numerous times, to no avail. Son has had similar issues with fifa
