Forza Horizon 4 still crashes when paused

It was actually working great for about 2 hours and now it's back to dumping me outta the game every time I pause to do something in the menu. I have reset the cache yet again and uninstalled the game completely and reinstalled twice and nothing
is making it go away. There must be someone else experiencing this as well, I'm thinking the game needs an update. I'm getting pretty frustrated for paying $130 for something that is giving me this much grief. It seems to dump me out more whem I'm around other
players because when I'm in solo it only happens half as much.

Forza Horizon 4 wont start

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

Forza horizon 3 pe gets crashed

When Im playing forza horizon 3 on PC or when I leave the game Windows 10 crashes

this did not improve the situation with lockup during pause within the game. I did remove my account info and reinstall the game but didn't seem to make any difference. I will wait and not play the game until a resolution of this matter is achieved.

If I were you, I'd try the support article entitled "My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay" and see if that keep the game
running.

yup, already done that too. I went thru the list of things that it "COULD" be and spent some considerable time on it and come to the conclusion that it is the game software itself and not my console. Also every other game or app on my console works perfectly
except for (interestingly enough) Forza 7 that still has problems loading menus and tracks and has terrible stuttering issues..but its playable, and for the most part so is Forza Horizon 4 but is frustrating having to reload the game every race. Kinda slows
down progress!!
