Forza Horizon 4 Save data synced into the abyss.

(for reference I've had the game on Xbox since release) I was trying to play Forza Horizon 4 on PC, I downloaded it off the Microsoft store, the download was fine but when I attempted to play the game it wouldn't sync my progress, it recognized
that it was my account playing, I waited for about half an hour to see if it did anything. At the end of the half an hour the game started to sync when it finally finished i clicked play but the game restarted me at the start of the game cut screen (not logging
me back into my progress). I've followed support guides and re-installed the game on Xbox waited 24 hours for it to catch up with the online sync still no progress last hope.

All ready got this response and tried it, the game did not pick back up where i left off on Xbox or PC

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with your save for the game Forza. We recommend looking over the

Xbox play anywhere help guide. There is a section if having issues launching game or getting the save.

I can’t continue a game last saved on another platform

Make sure you’re using the same Microsoft account for both platforms when you sign in.
Sign back in to the game on the platform where it was last saved (the game should pick up where you left off).
Resave the game on this platform, and then try to open the game on the other platform.

Hi there,

I'm guessing this it the first time you're playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC,

If you've lost your game data for Forza Horizon 4 on PC, having closed the game before allowing it to sync up, ( which it can take some time to do so ),

To make sure you've not completely lost your save data, I would load Forza Horizon 4 on you're Xbox console and see if your save data is ok on the Xbox, if it is ok,

I would then uninstall Forza Horizon 4 from you're PC, then reinstall it and allow it to fully sync up, which may take so time to do so , to see if it works / fixes the issue.

I'm not sure about the Windows 10 update, as I've not had to do any update's to Windows for Forza over the years of going back and fourth playing Forza Horizon 4 between Xbox and PC and having to sync every time i do so.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with missing saved progress in Forza Horizon 4. To troubleshoot this issue please quit Forza Horizon 4, restart your PC and re-launch the game. Upon launch, your game should sync your last
saved data.
