Forza Horizon 4 ran error on my xbox one x.

Basically, your region should match the country you are in. Please before changing read the

information about region setting!

Of course, the cause of your problem may be the internet connection from China (FIREWALL). A friend from China (with whom I play Horizon) told me that his XBOX
NAT was type 3 which was strict and he was unable connect to multiplayer games. He fixed the problem
by hooking up the XBOX to his computer. So the computer's vpn bypass the firewall and the XBOX connected NAT type 2 and he was able to join multiplayer games.

1. Connect your xbox to laptop or computer via usb ethernet adapter.
2. Go to network sharing center and choose change adapter settings.
3. Look for the VPN tap adapter and share it to your xbox
4. check your xbox network connection if the NAT has change

However, a question mark remains the grey screen you described.

When I start Horizon, the following happens:

1. Horizon Start Screen
2. Playground Animation (Car Cockpit)
3. Microsoft Studio / Turn Ten Animation
4. Sound startet and after a few seconds
5. The Senna Animation apears and I have to push the A-Button
6. Slide show with some game data

and if I set my XBOX Offline, the game does not start!! The message "You have to conncet to Live Service" pops up.

So maybe, try to play Horizon first without HDR and then without UHD to see if it is a network problem!!

That sounds pretty rough. The best thing I can think of is to go to the Forza Horizon 4 forums and see if anyone has had similar issues.

I have tried config a VPN on my router as you said, but that doesn't seem to work.

Last weekend, I downloaded 《SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice》and it also can be run perfectly.

I still have no idea, and desperately needs your assistance.

sorry but it's unclear to me if you're talking about the demo or the game.

On the game after the turn10 and MS animation the music often starts 2-5 seconds before the "start Video" is visible!!!

I also got some problems with my ONE X and Forza but after switching HDR Off and changing the MODE at the TV to gaming it works. Maybe you try also to swith HDR to OFF

I downloaded the whole game (not demo) from XGP. My console ran into a endless gray screen, what i can do is just long press the xbox button to turn off the device. It also did terrible when i start MC, game would crashed back to desktop when i tried to
connect to the MC world via net.

But it ran perfectly when i start other games, such as Ori, Tomb Raider and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which does not need internet to play.

Some one told me this problem would relate to my region setting, i'm confused.
