    Forza Horizon 4 profile not available on console or Win 10 PC


    I was playing Forza Horizon 4 on my Xbox One console. I wanted to start playing it on a Windows 10 PC. I am new to Windows and got confused so inadvertently repurchased the game. I was able to play it for a couple of weeks on both the PC and the console.
    Then I suddenly got an error message E:47-0 stating that my profile was unavailable.

    I got this message on the PC and on the console, so clearly the problem is not local to either device. I have seen a couple of others have this problem but the only solution appears to be: create a new gamertag and use that profile. I am fine with that as
    I was just like driving around on the roads to chill after a long day of work.

    I am confused as to what happened, and if this is going to happen again. I am also wondering if it occurred because I purchased a second copy of the game by mistake and so there are two files in the cloud associated with the same gamertag.

    I don't play other Xbox games so I am wondering if I can delete the old gamertag and create a new one, or if I create a new one leaving the old one intact. Also wondering if my MS account will be confused if I have two gamertags.

    Appreciate some enlightenment on this

    Play Forza Horizon 4 in PC

    Forza Horizon 4 is available on both Game Pass for Consoles, and Game Pass for PC. As far as I'm aware, the game is also Xbox Play Anywhere, so even if you get Game Pass for Consoles, Forza Horizon 4 should still work on the PC.

    Either version of Game Pass should be fine, but I'd recommend getting Game Pass for PC just to make sure.

    Forza Horizon 4 synchronizing Cloud Data fail, savegame lost

    Hi there,

    I'm guessing this it the first time you're playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC,

    If you've lost your game data for Forza Horizon 4 on PC, having closed the game before allowing it to sync up, ( which it can take some time to do so ),

    To make sure you've not completely lost your save data, I would load Forza Horizon 4 on you're Xbox console and see if your save data is ok on the Xbox, if it is ok,

    I would then uninstall Forza Horizon 4 from you're PC, then reinstall it and allow it to fully sync up, which may take so time to do so , to see if it works / fixes the issue.

    I'm not sure about the Windows 10 update, as I've not had to do any update's to Windows for Forza over the years of going back and fourth playing Forza Horizon 4 between Xbox and PC and having to sync every time i do so.

    Do I need a game pass to play Forza Horizon 4 multiplayer on PC ?

    If you bought Forza Horizon 4 from the store on the console like I did, it should be play anywhere as my copy is.

    I use Forza Horizon 4 on my console and I can also download it on my windows 10 PC if I wanted to at no extra cost.

    Forgot to add that as long as you're using the same account on your PC that's on your console, you don't need to pay extra as long as you're already paying for Xbox Live Gold/ Game Pass Ultimate on that account.
