Forza Horizon 4 PC - GPU not being used

I have played Forza Horizon 4 on Pc through the xbox Game Pass multiple times, with everything running smoothly. However this time around, I experience some stuttering and input lag during races. I checked Task manager and i saw Forza only using CPU (60-99 %) and no GPU what so ever (0% and rarely 0.1% eith the indication GPU Engine GPU 0- Copy). This is the only game where it happens.

I've read all the discussions online, including one saying that i had to activate "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling', however this setting is no longer available in the latest update.

Please, all help is welcomed!

but in the updates it says i'm up to date. how do i update it?

You're running Windows 10 build 10.18363.1379. The 18363 portion of that number represents that you're running Windows 10 1909. Confusing I know. Link The last bit, the 1379, relates to a February 2021 update for version 1909, but it's not the latest Windows 10 version.

The main part of your Windows 10 build still dates from 2019. Your graphics card driver is new though.

Perhaps the older Windows version and the newer graphics card drivers are conflicting?

My version of Windows 10 is 10.19042.867 (version 20H2) released in October 2020. The 867 part was put out recently.

You should try to run Windows update from the Settings > Update & Security.

To confirm your Windows 10 version press and hold the Windows Key and tap R to bring up the Run Command box. enter the word Winver into this box. Here is mine:

If it tells you it's up to date there is something wrong. Check here for how to get version 20H2

Yeah, i've done it but not through classic app because the game is protected, so it has to be through universal app. Nothing changed tho

It may be that an integrated GPU is being selected instead, and you'll have to manually select the discrete GPU to run the game. But to force the use of GPU you can, Right-click anywhere on the desktop, and then select Display Settings. In the right panel, scroll down to look for and click on Graphics settings. Under Choose an app to set preference, select Classic app, and click on Browse. Then, browse to the app or game exe file that you want to force to use a GPU.
