Forza horizon 4 multiplayer doesn't work

Also having the same issue. This also prevents from playing online multiplayer games that are tied to xbox.

For example, I am not able to connect to the online multiplayer for Forza Horizon 4.

I've already tried every step there is and it still doesn't work.

I am receiving the same issue, and out of the many of the currently active games I play, FH4 is the only one I can't connect to. I'm starting to wonder if they pulled the servers with the launch of FH5? Are there any public statements that would indicate that the servers are still up?

What do you mean, a different wifi network? I use cable connection. Different router? Well, everything used to work just fine with my current one (plus I bought it in 2020). Forza Horizon is the only game I have issues with multiplayer.

No, I don't have VPN.

The only thing I haven't tried is port forwarding. Don't think it will help me tho. I reckon it's my ISP, cause what else could it be?

Chances are it's not your ISP. I have had NAT issues on my PC (connected via an ethernet cable) ever since there was a major Toredo issue back in August 2020...since then my NAT always showed as blocked, no matter what I tried. This carried over numerous Windows reinstalls, router resets etc....I have just checked my Windows 11 (I only upgraded in June) and my NAT is Moderate, albeit open.

In contrast, both my Xboxes (Xbox One X and Series X using Wi-Fi) have never had any NAT issues whatsoever over the same time period, despite using the same router and the same DNS addresses.

And I am not alone in this....the Forza support forum is littered with people having the same issue. I realise that this doesn't solve your issue (apologies) but I just wanted you to be aware that it is likely not an ISP issue....if course, there's no harm in getting them to look at it but don't be surprised if they say everything is fine. There seems to be a fundamental weakness in the interaction between the Toredo Protocol and the servers that service Forza Horizon 4, which surfaced with the major outage 2 years ago (prior to that outage I played FH4 for 6 months with zero issues)
