Forza Horizon 4 makes PC shut down

Yea build myselfe and set up curectly. The AIO is quit nice because it is sealed form factory so no leakege .

I ran quit taxing workloads and everything ran nice and cool regarding the Cpu and Gpu, but i think the main problem is the mainboard.

Since it is a X570 cipset, it has activ cooled South Bridge Controler. With this Particular board that cooler is quit small and loud as a result so maybe it is just to much traffic running through the southbridge controler. But i will run Cinebench a few times
and see what happens to all the temps.

I got a Tower with folowing Specs:

AMD Ryzen 3900x

As Rock x570 Taichi

Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700xt

Gskill 16 GB Ram (2 8GB Modules)

Corsair HX750

CPU is watercooled with a AIO form Corsair,

the rest of the PC is aircooled.

The heat could be a problem since the mainboard has only a very small heatsink for the SB contruler.

Is the AIO fitted correctly? I have no experience with these at all. The idea of electronics and water fills me with dread!

In the first instance I would concentrate on temperatures. To give the CPU a workout I would run a Cinebench or two. Cinenbench is a free CPU bench-marking tool that can be downloaded from the Windows Store.

To go with that I recommend a CPU monitor such as
Core Temp. To check temps in-game, you should be able to do all of that with your RX 5700xt in the

Radeon Software In-Game Overlay Menu

Note that I'm an NVIDIA RTX 2080 owner so I'm not well versed in AMD driver software.

The one I use personally is MSI Afterburner. Afterburner needs a little bit configuring to get it to show you all system temperatures, but it's an excellent monitoring program. The only issues are some games (mainly the Windows Store ones) don't like it
and either fail to load when its running or have stability issues - Gears 5 I'm looking at you!

The 3900X can reach up to 95C, but at that temp it will throttle down.

The hardware spec of the RX 5700XT say it can go up to 110C (phew!), but they will throttle much sooner than that.

Laptop or desktop/tower? Can you provide some system specifications please? What you've told us so far doesn't give us a lot to go on.

Typical reasons for shutdowns when gaming are:

Heat:

PC's will attempt to throttle before they completely shut down to maintain a certain temperature, if this doesn't work the system will turn off to prevent damage.

Power:

Associated more with desktops/tower PCs than laptops. If your PC wants more power than what the power supply can provide you'll get an unstable system and shut downs.
