Forza Horizon 4 Input Lag on Keyboard

The input just takes a very long time to respond, like when i press "W" it takes 2 seconds to my car actually starts going forward, the graphics are on the lowest as possible

Just wanted to reply here since i had the same kind of problem with input lag and sometimes tapping a key would get interpreted as holding it down. Also was experiencing a kind of stretchy graphics lag that made playing very hard. And all this although FPS
would never go under 60. Using the settings the game suggested (high) and also tried all different settings all the way to the lowest possible.

I'm running Win10 and have an Intel i5-750 2,6ghz, 8gb 1333mhz ram and a new Radeon RX570. Thought the reason was my old and slow cpu (although within minimum requirements) so i spent a week overclocking it and now it's running stably at 3,8ghz (ram at about
1,47ghz), but hilariously still i was experiencing this stretchy lag.

Finally what fixed it completely was turning vertical sync off in graphics settings.

The explanation for vertical sync in the graphics settings say this might raise the frame rate, but the opposite happened - now fps is around 60 (as opposed to 60-120 earlier) and goes under 60 as well, but the game works smoothly now so that's all i care
about . Also have not experienced screen tearing after this and would propably take it any day over the aforementioned which do infact ruin the game experience. Hope this helps someone.

Update: Whoops, made the conclusion too fast. Experienced keyboard lag again and actually there's more general lag now despite none of that stretchy lag from before. Hmm 🤔

These 'lags' that you refer to, are they game pauses or does the input not respond? What graphics settings have you set in the game?

As for performance, 30 fps option is going to be the more stable setting to use with your system. The GTX 950 is an entry level GPU which as been superseded by the entry level GTX 1050 and your CPU is only a dual core.
