So there are several ways to make money on the Forza Horizon 4.

Do Races like Goliath, Titan, Kraken, etc, This type of races will give you a lot of money and influence.

Super Wheel Spins - this is an excellent way to get money, clothes and cars. If you pass some cars skills, they provide to you right the way super wheel spins, so take a look always on the car masteries.

Auction Cars Edition Horizon-This is another way to make a lot of money if you have a little patience you can quickly get millions.

I like Forzathon Events as well.

But I have found another way to make millions quickly.

I agree with this. Forzathon events are quite fun! Even though this method may not be as good as the one suggested in the OP, it does feel less grindy.
