Forza Horizon 4 - how to get back into a Horizon Live Session

I clicked Horizon Solo instead of Horizon Live Session. How do I get back to a Horizon Live Session to play Eliminator?

My Xbox One is connected to the internet, so it is not simply a network connectivity problem. What we can't find is the setting or option to get out of "offline" mode, even though we ARE connected to the internet already. Thank you.

You may have been playing with the game pass ultimate or the Xbox live free trial. most games including forza require xbox live to play online

Hi, in order to play online you should open the ingame menu while in free roam, then in the first tab "home" you should find the option "play online" on the right.

You can also directly search for an eliminator match inside the same menù, you should simply go the second tab "horizon life" and click on the big image "the eliminator" in the center

When I follow those steps, it says we need an "xbox live gold membership". But, I haven't ever had that and was still able to play online in the past. I did have a gamepass then. Is that why I could go online in the past, but cannot do so now? Is there a way
to play online without a gold membership?

So I talked with the support of xbox and they told me easily that for Forza Horizon 4 the Xbox Live is mandatory for playing online. Bought it, activated it and I could immediately join the online session.

Hello. After what you suggested we are still on able to get online. It is not just Forza horizon 4 for it is Forza horizon 3 as well. This is the error

fsiled to redolve server address. Check your DNS settings snd try again.
