    Forza Horizon 4 download keeps freezing


    I've spent the day trying to fix it by myself, trying everything that is suggested on forums, and nothing works.

    When I download a game on the microsoft store there is no problem, except for forza horizon 4 which starts, reaches around 1GB downloaded and then completely freeze.

    I tried everything, reseting my microsoft store, creating a new software distribution folder, the troubleshooting, doing stuff with powershell and cmd.

    So please send me some help I took the game pass to play this particular game and I can't download it.

    Why I cannot install Forza Horizon 4

    Thanks for the response, it seems to force me to download "Forza Horizon 4" first. When I click pause it's download and then try to start download on "Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition" it stays at "Downloading" and starts Downloading process of "Forza Horizon 4". I also tried logging into my account on different computer which worked.

    Hi Joakim,

    Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
    If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

    Can you please be more specific?

    Did you download a game and it is not showing up?

    Or are you referring to Forza Horizon 4. If it is Forza Horizon 4 you still need to go and down load it. The betas does not automatically download the new game.

    It was a console bundle, including forza horizon 4 and forza motorsport 7 (digital download codes). I can see the motorsport in the order history, but horizon isn't there.
