Forza Horizon 4 doesn't work anymore

Hello!

I have a problem with Forza Horizon 4. Whenever I start the game I only get to the screen where it tells me to press "Enter". When I press "Enter" the video in the background just freezes but the little loading-symbol in the bottom right corner is still
spinning. And that's it. Nothing else is happening and I bet that the symbol would just keep spinning forever. I waited for almost two hours and nothing changed. Yesterday everything was fine but today it's broken.

I tried restarting the game and my computer but it didn't help at all. I don't want to uninstall and then install the game because it takes around 14 hours for me to download.

I hope that someone may help me.

Just so we are on the same page here is the game being played on the
Xbox one console or on the Windows app?

Just in case it's on Windows it has been updated on Forza Support that

Forza Horizon 4 will not boot if you are using any of the following virus checkers.

• Trend Micro Maximum Security
• Comodo Antivirus
• Sophos
• Emisoft Anti-Malware

Check out the forums page on the Forza website bud they do have some helpful information on there as well! Keep
us posted!

 

Try reinstall the game and try clearing cache.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

I'm playing on the Windows app. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

I don't use any of these virus checkers and don't have them installed on my computer.

The only antivirus program I have installed is Kaspersky Internet Security.

I also wanted to mention that it took very long for some races to load when I was playing yesterday. My first thought was that my connection was the problem but today nothing works so maybe it's something else. Maybe that helps...

to go over the troubleshooting that is offered in regards to the game not launching on Windows.

I downloaded the Microsoft Tool and it told me to restart my computer once again and I didn't think that this would help. But somehow I'm able to play Forza Horizon 4 again ;D.
