    Forza Horizon 4 crashing every 10-15 minutes on Xbox Series S


    I've had the Series S since launch day and so far every game has worked perfectly for me except Forza Horizon 4. Every 10-15 minutes it will freeze up, the controller will vibrate while the screen freezes, and after 10 seconds or so, the console will turn
    off. I've played lots of other games with no issue and I've played Forza Horizon 4 on my friend's Series X for hours without this happening once.

    I've reset the console, I've tried unplugging the machine to clear the cache (I read that somewhere online), I've uninstalled and re-downloaded the game, and I've tried 1080 and 4k resolutions and it continues to happen which makes the game pretty unplayable.
    I'm happy to wait for a patch if this is a known issue or something but it's disappointing since this is the one game I really want to play right now and I can't. To be clear, it really is only this game that is causing it, otherwise I'd assume it is a hardware
    failure of some kind.

    Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for me?

    I reinstalled windows with the summer update (1903) and it didn't help solve the problem. Microsoft, please fix it

    Hi there,

    The best possible solution I have for you regarding the game running on windows 10 is to do a fresh install of the OS as I had the same issue and my game wouldn't run after a windows update installed 1909 I tried everything to reset the game and ms store via
    poweshell and nothing helped even tried re downloading the game but it didn't help either. Try this solution and it should work again like a charm.

    Yes, I have plans for this decision, but I will probably postpone it for the most extreme case.

    I suggest that you reset your internet connection and then power cycle your console.

    This problem on windows 10. I dont have console.

    What is your GPU? AMD or nVidia?
    Nvidia GTX 970.

    What's most interesting, everything worked fine until reinstalling Windows
