Forza Horizon 4 crashes constantly....HELP!

any answers as to why Forza horizon 4 crashes when I pause in game to check my map or change cars or do tunes...basically anything. I get to drive around for 2 mins and reload the game, getting a little agravating!

Forza Horizon 4 wont start

Hi Joakim,

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

We suggest to first clear the Game Cache since if it happens to be full it can cause this type of errors. Assuming this error happens on the console:

How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

Settings

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

It was actually working great for about 2 hours and now I'm back to dumping me outta the game every time I pause to do something in the menu. I have reset the cache yet again and uninstalled the game completely and reinstalled twice and nothing is making
it go away. There must be someone else experiencing this as well, I'm thinking the game needs an update. I'm getting pretty frustrated for paying $130 for something that is giving me this much grief. It seems to dump me out more whem I'm around other players
because when I;m in solo it only happens half as much.

You will want to uninstall and reinstall Forza 4, as well as performing a full reboot on the console. This should hopefully correct the issue!

 

Done that twice and it's still going on. I had another response that said I should follow the "remove my account" and then sign back in. I'll let you know how that went.
