    Forza Horizon 4 Crash Issue


    Hi there,

    I have Forza Horizon 4 on Steam. It runs great. However, it randomly just freezes and I have to close it from the task manager. I have updated Windows and updated graphics drivers. I cannot really trace back the issue to anything. I even verified the file integrity.

    I managed to get an event viewer log of the crash and this is the error.

    The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 1.477.175.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

    I have no clue what's causing this. I don't want to reinstall windows for now.

    Hi Joakim,

    Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
    If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

    Hi ArtacK,

    Yes your data is associated with your account and I don't believe uninstalling the game erases the saved files on your PC. If you're having issues with Forza Horizon 4, I recommend looking over this support article I found with helpful solutions to resolve
