Forza Horizon 3 - Windows 10 - won't start after the latest update

Hi,

after the latest mandatory update the game isn't working anymore...was runnin' perfectly before...now it won't go past the very first screen ( the one with the two cars). From the event manager in Windows it seems, readin' the id of the event (5990) that
the game can't verify itself, or this is what i think, i'm not an expert... i'm on nvidia latest drivers, 376.33, latest windows update etc. I tried uninstallin' my antivirus, tried uninstallin' the latest windows update, tried to reset the app and windows
store but nothing works... any suggestion please? it's been a week now and on various forums i can see there's a lot of people with this problem since the latest update...

Forza Horizon 6: Apex on Windows 10: Unknown Problem...

Yes, I tried to install Forza 6 after Horizon 3 (Trial) and after it didn't work, I downloadet the 21GB again for Forza 6...

My PC Hardware:

AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz

RAM 16GB

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

64Bit System

Windows 10 (latest Anniversary Update)

Forza Horizon 3 - Error 15 seconds after start download

Hello!

I reinstalled Windows 10 yesterday. I downloaded all updates and updated all drivers.

I wanted to download my Forza Horizon 3 from Microsoft Store but after 15-25 seconds after starting download I got "Couldn't Install. We'll retry shortly." I have this problem only with Forza Horizon 3. I can download any other app from Microsoft Store.

Hi,

To resolve your concern, you can perform the following methods on your computer:

Method 1. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from this link to fix update errors.

Method 2. Make sure that your Firewall or anti-virus is not blocking the app. To check your firewall settings, you can refer to this link: Turn
Windows Firewall on or off.

Method 3. Clear Windows Store cache.

1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.

2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).

3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

Method 4. Uninstall the game from Windows Store, and then restart your computer. Once the computer restarted, download the game from the store again.

Let us know how it goes.

Windows Update Troubleshooter didn't show any errors, i had already controlled all the necessary services, so i'm fine on that side.

I had already cleared Windows store cache with no results, did even an app reset,

Tried everything with firewall/Windows Defender/even uninstallin' the antivirus i had ( even if had no problem with that antivirus before the patch). Will investigate a little more on that side probably, and if nothing works i'll uninstall and reinstall...

It's working now. I guess I had the wrong version of windows 10. After I installed the updates I went to the store and into my library and found Forza Horizon 3 was now there. Thanks for the help!
