Forza Horizon 3 stuck on start screen PC Windows 11

Please make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager by right-clicking on your graphics card and selecting "Update driver".

And then check for Windows Updates. Kindly click the Start button, then go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Next is to run as administrator. To do this, please right-click on the Forza Horizon 3 executable and select "Run as administrator".

Then disable Full-Screen optimizations. Rght-click on the Forza Horizon 3 executable, go to "Properties," then "Compatibility," and check the box for "Disable full-screen optimizations".

Kindly ensure as well that your firewall and antivirus are not blocking the game. You can temporarily disable them to see if it resolves the issue.

After that is to run System File checker. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command sfc /scannow to check for and repair any corrupted system files.

Once done, kindly launch your game and see if it works.

The URL you've hyperlinked is the same for both links. I can't find anywhere where it says Forza 5 does not run on Windows 11.

I'm not sure how you have lost access to your progress and in-app purchases, that is likely a separate issue. However, Windows 11 is not in beta, it's a full commercial release. It's been on general release since October 2021. Forza Horizon 5 is designed to run on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

There should no incompatibilities for games between Windows 10 and Windows 11. I'm a PC gamer and I play Forza Horizon 5 via Windows 11 and it's working perfectly.

Having the same problem as hungryfatbear, app starts to load, stuck at a green screen. Its the 11. version and this only started after the latest windows 10 update.

All my hardware normally dan Windows 11 updated. I have tried all the methods in the link you sent, but the game still gets stuck then crash. I've tried moving the Forza Horizon 5 files to the SATA SSD, but the game still doesn't work.
