Forza Horizon 3 'Sign-In Needed' Bug (Game-breaking)

I found a game-breaking bug that's making me consider a refund for the game. It's a shame because I really do enjoy the game a lot.

Whenever I go to Auction House to bid for a car, for the 2nd time, the game gets stuck viewing the car I'm trying to bid for. No, it isn't a freeze. The game is still going but I can't do anything but close out of the game.
But when I do close out, I try reopening the game and it won't let me play because it says I couldn't play without signing in. I just bought this game a couple days ago, and I have to say, I love it, but these especially frustrating game-breaking
bugs makes it unworthy of my money. I looked online for solutions through forums and support, but the best 'solution' I've seen is to reinstall Windows 10 entirely. Now for a game bug, this is completely ridiculous. After trying and failing with other
possible solutions, I finally reinstalled Windows as I was desperate. The reinstall took time, but it worked. The thing is, I don't know why it worked.

I have a possible theory. As my game got stuck and I had to close out, my friend told me that I was still in-game. I went looking for the Xbox processes to see what was going on. I found out that these processes in this screenshot:

had stopped. I opened services and set them to automatic so that they'd always run. However, I only just did that as I am typing this post. Just as I shared that screenshot, Forza Horizon 3 had just been reinstalled (trying another method to fix).

I don't know what the solution is, but I hope I won't come across this problem again. And if I do, I hope to not have to reinstall FH3 or Windows 10. Please help if you know why this is happening, because I don't want to avoid a feature in a game (auctioning
and bidding) that I like.
