Forza Horizon 3 Save Glitch?

Hi,

I'm playing on pc. I seem to have a bug, that will make the game crash. That bug always ends up looping the "saving the game, please don't turn of your computer" message. The Message will then be permanently on my screen and I will not be able to do anything,
but restart the game after 5-15 minutes of waiting. This mostly seems to happen when buying a new car, or modifying an existing one. I even noticed I am still able to rotate the car in the blurred out backround. Google searching my problem didnt harvest results.
Is this a known problem? does a work around exist?

The issue only seemed to prevail as long as i was saving in surfers paradise. Saving at other festival locations does not trigger the problem, hence my workaround is to only save elsewhere. Thank you for your support.
