Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10

People have said that I need to have an Xbox to play Forza Horzion 3 even if i want to play it on Windows 10. Do I need one? Or if i preorder the xbox version will i be able to play it off the xbox app on windows 10 or do i NEED an xbox to play it. Thanks

Forza horizon 3 pe gets crashed

When Im playing forza horizon 3 on PC or when I leave the game Windows 10 crashes

If you buy it digitally you can play it on both the Xbox One or the Windows 10 PC. It won't be through the XBox App on the PC, it'll be through it's own app (kinda like Forza or Killer Instinct).

If you buy a physical copy you can only play it on the Xbox One.

I finally got Forza Horizon 3 downloading on my PC, but I had to reinstall Windows to get it to download.

If you can't see an install link under Forza Horizon 3, when you click to it through the Ultimate Bundle, then your install of Windows 10 might be "broken". Performing a reset might help resolve the issue, but it is time consuming, and will require the reinstall
of some of your programs (the Windows 10 apps, however, 'should' be reinstalled)

Only the digital version of Forza Horizon 3 can be played on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as you can see here:
