Forza Horizon 3 lost license

I was gifted Forza Horizon 3 Christmas 2017 and I was playing most of last week but one day it stopped working and asked if I owned the game so I contacted Microsoft and they said I didn’t have the license to play it and there was no record of me being gifted
it from them and they said someone must’ve shared it I said no so they said it could be because I am an insider and contact the Xbox insider forum. If this isn’t the right place to post this can someone tell where is

I lost the warthog code that xbox sent me for Forza Horizon 3.

I lost forza horizon 3 warthog code and I was hoping it could be resent to me.

Were you given a code when you got the game?

 

I never new that and no it was just downloading when I turned my Xbox on

 

Usually if you're gifted a game you're given a code. If it was just download it does sound like someone else had your console set as their Home console.
