Forza Horizon 3 keeps crashing. How to fix?

Forza Horizon 3 Standard Edition keeps crashing after a few minutes of gameplay. Sometimes at the end of the loading screen and sometimes a few seconds after I get into the world. I was able to play the introductory missions with very few crashes but they
are very consistent at this point. First the game freezes, then it turns gray and a few second later it closes without any error messages.

My Specs:

- Windows 10 Home 64-bit version 1903

- Intel Core i7-8750H CPU @ 2.2GHz

- NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080(notebook)

- 16,GB RAM

I have tried a multitude of "fixes" that I've found online but none of these had any effect at all on the issue.

- Updating GPU drivers.

- Turning off microphone permission.

- Changing in-game settings to low and turning off as much as possible.

- Tweaking graphics from NVIDIA control panel (but Windows wont let me add it as I don't have "permission" to despite being admin).

- Reinstalling.

- Moving to a different HDD.

- Resetting the game cashe.

- Allowing Forza and Xbox processes in the firewall.

- Tested with the Windows Defender Firewall enabled and disabled.

- Temporarily disabling Anti-virus.

- Clicked "fix it" in "Xbox networking".

- Turned off "fast boot".

- Disabling the pagefile functionality.

Nothing so far is working or even causing the issue to change whatsoever. What else can I do to resolve this issue?

I heard Event Viewer would be helpful for identifying the cause of the crash. I have no prior experience with it but this is what the log spits out at the time of a crash.

I have the same issue. MY game usually freezes when I enter the world.

My Specs:

- Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

- Intel Core i7-10750H CPU

- NVIDIA GeForce RTX2070(notebook), recent drivers

- 16 GB RAM

I also tried any fixes and settings which I found in the internet. Are there any solutions yet?

Edit: I found the problem!

End processes for NAHIMIC sound software (if you have). This solved my issues with Forza Horizon 3 and 4!!

I don't even use Nahimic so I uninstalled it entirely and I've actually been able to play it now.

Hi Joakim,

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

Try running Forza Horizon 5 as an administrator. It fixed my random crashes.
