Forza horizon 3 keeps breaking

I am a long time player of this game, it is very good in my opinion, but now I am unable to play it as every time I play it it breaks and slows down the xbox to the point that it takes a full minute to open the home menu, let alone quit to home. How this
is shown in-game is for the cars around me, and my car, to suddenly freeze, as a large portion of the floor of the map disappears in front of me, leaving way to a large void. Now this freezing can go on for up to 10 minutes, and often results in the game crashing,
causing the consol to crash in some kind of way that it's still on but there is no display coming from it. Now, these freezes aren'tthe whole game freezing. They're just the cars. In the rivals gamemode, the timed, speedrun-like mode where I have grinded for
ages to get good times (only ever in the 86 lol) I can't get any better times, because when it freezes, The Timer Keeps Going. It Doesn't Stop. It isn't the whole application, it's just within the application. And then that eventually leads to a full crash.

I have not had this trouble before a month or two ago, maybe more, but it also hasn't come up in any other game. It has rendered the game unplayable. I have had one other issue with Shadow of War, where that fails to launch entirely after I tried to install
a dlc for it. This issue came not too long after that one if I recall. I could not find a single other person ago had encountered this problem in ask extensive search.

I have a third of my storage free, so it's not that. I also don't run anything else like groove music or whatever that might slow it down either. I get about 3 minutes of play then it starts freezing.
