Forza Horizon 3 Installation and Launch Issue

I purchased a pin for Forza Horizon 3, and wanted to download it. I went to the windows store, and entered the pin. The store said that I own it, and so I went to download it. I downloaded the game on drive D: which is a HDD of 1TB, and ~860gb free. This
is not the drive with Windows 10 on it. About 3/4 of the way through the download, my mouse starts lagging. A few minutes later my background dissapears. Then the icons. I cannot interact with anything except for the physical buttons on my pc. I can either
restart, or shut down. I hit restart, and it does. I boot up my pc again, and the download is stuck at around 3/4. I close the store, and mess around with pausing and resuming the download. When I do this, it says I am getting 80mb/S, and the number slowly
decreases untill it disappears altogether. Eventually, after repeated attempts at pausing and unpausing, the game downloads, and I was able to launch it, and play with a friend. I closed it when I was done to go eat. When I tried to launch it again, the launch
screen/logo appears, and then closes. This happens every time I try to launch it (Desktop shortcut, store, xbox, nvidia, start menu) With no other options left, I uninstall the game through settings. I clear the windows store cache via wsreset.exe and I re
register he store using

I try again and the same problem happens. I tried various methods from the internet and windows threads, but could find no solution. This happens 4 more times, all of yesterday. I tried both C: and D: drives. Eventually, I left the download going through
the night to see if the lag wears off, and corrects itself. It did, and it was able to install. When I tried to launch, the launch screen appears for a split second, and then disappears. Sometimes it didn't even show up.

I am now attempting to download for the seventh time over the course of 3 days. I am finding that the windows store is very difficult to use, and I am starting to get frustrated. My friend bought his pin and installed at about the same time as me, and it
works for him. I am still unable to install and launch Forza Horizon 3. Please help fix this problem.

Windows 10 (most recent version, I have tested for newer versions, and run the update troubleshooter)

Intel core i5

GeForce GTX 1060

16gb RAM

SSD with Windows 10

HDD 1TB
