Forza Horizon 3 G920 Problem

Hello,

i have a problem with my Logitech g920 wheel. The gears of the shifter are wrong assigned. Gear 1 is gear 6, so the shifting is inverted.

I didnt found a setting, which could fix my problem.

Logitech G920 not working on Forza Horizon 3 on PC

For some unknown reason, my logitech g920 will not work on Forza Horizon 3 anymore. it worked about 5-6 months ago flawlessly, and now after having gotten a brand new G920, ( the last one was faulty ) it still does not work but will work on my other games.

I.E. EuroTruck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, Project Cars, BeamNG.drive

 

how tu run forza horizon 3 on a local conto on win10?

Hello all,

searching for a solution for the above mentioned problem in the headline.

Microsoft Conto exists within admin and forza horizon 3 is running there propperly.

But I want to run forza horizon 3 on a local conto on the same PC, too.

When I log in the local conto the app forza horizon 3 is not available therefore...?

Is there a solution for that problem?

I don't think that it is the relevant answer.

I've the same trouble shooting after a windows 10 update:

The gears of the shifter was working Saturday afternoon 15th of April 2017 (like months) and since the windows 10 update 1703 Monday 17th of April, the gear assignments have been reversed (completly wrong).

=> Also I'm fast sure that the issue is coming from Microsoft and I'm working on Information Technology too...

Details of the Windows update 10: version 1703: copy past on microsoft information (sorry in French):

- "Mise jour des fonctionnalités de Windows 10, version 1703"

- "Mise jour de sécurité pour Internet Explorer Flash Player pour Windows 10 Version 1703 pour ordinateurs processeur x64 (KB4018483)"

OK I will see with Forza Horizon 3 and continue with logitech support too. I will update this post if any interesting news.

For information, Windows Store is already configured with automatic updates and the game has been updated in version 1.0.58.2 the 13th of April. Also the driving shifter was still working fine 2 days after this update.

 

OK I find the solution on the below site and it works -) The idea is that the Windows Creator update has modify the logitech wheel g920 registry: in the g920 registry in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameInput\Devices", we
have to modify the "RacingWheel" value (some bytes has been reversed).

=> It would be nice that the microsoft installer team takes care in the future Windows updates to no more modify this registry with bad values.
