Forza Horizon 3 download restarted after DLC update

So today when the update prompted I started it from the store and it said it was around 1.9GB, then I left the PC and when i came back the Store app wouldn't work properly, so I searched how to fix it and found a troubleshoot app to run on my PC, and it
deleted the cache (if i'm right) and then restarted the PC.

After that the store app worked but the download size of the update became 50.99GB. My connection is so slow I need to run it nonstop for like 3 days. The game starts, but when I get to the main menu it prompts "a new update is necessary, you'll be redirected
to the store"

Is there a way to fix it?

Forza Horizon 3 - Error 15 seconds after start download

Hello!

I reinstalled Windows 10 yesterday. I downloaded all updates and updated all drivers.

I wanted to download my Forza Horizon 3 from Microsoft Store but after 15-25 seconds after starting download I got "Couldn't Install. We'll retry shortly." I have this problem only with Forza Horizon 3. I can download any other app from Microsoft Store.

Can't download Forza Horizon 3. Error always at 36MB downloaded

Hi,

It seems that that there was an issue with the update, and it is trying to have you re-install the game. Have you already tried to delete the game and re-download it? Also, not sure if the tool you used was the same, but can you try to run this tool to see
if it detects any issues also:

You can also to attempt to reset the Windows Store by going to Run>WSReset.exe to see if that fixes the issues afterwards, you may have to restart your computer afterwards or sign out and back in.

also check for the recently released KB3194496 update from Windows Update as well. it's supposed to address store download issues.

Hi Tonisberg, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

As per checking Forza Horizon 3 will reach 'end of life' status on September 27, 2020. That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase after that date but after September 27, 2020, players who own Forza Horizon, 3 will still be able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal.

Kindly quit the game then restart your device for you to play the game online.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling just the Warthog DLC for Forza Horizon 3 to see if the content shows up in your game afterwards? You can find the DLC in your

'Ready to install' section for Forza Horizon 3.

Just to be absolutely sure, let's try the steps in this order:

Delete Forza Horizon, its DLC, and any Title Updates (basically everything except your save)
Clear cache, restart the console.
Download the game and DLC again.

Do any other games behave this way since you got the new console?
