Forza Horizon 3 Disappeared from library

As a start to a problem on the FH3 store page the button says "Manage" instead of "Install".

The first time i clicked on "manage" i got redirected to My library and the game was listed, i clicked on the download symbol and gave me an error window saying "Try again later Something happen on our end"

After a while it simply disappeared from the library, i checked the hidden apps it´s just not on the library, and the game page still says "manage" on the button. any help?

Hi i got a code for a forza horizon 3 warthog from halo 5 for being a loyal customer and now the code disappeared

 

This Games owes me 750k after selling my cars at auction.

I sold 2 Horizon Edition cars in Forza Horizon 3 and left the cash so i could claim it the next day and they disappeared.

 

Make sure Windows is updated. The anniversary update and any cumulative update after that is required.

Can you take a look at your purchase history on account.microsoft.com and see Forza Horizon 3 is there? If it's not there, you'll need to purchase it. Also, please be sure to post on the account that you purchased the game on the forums, if that's the case!

I have the same problem. I just updated to the anniversary edition of Windows 10 and Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition does show in my purchase history. When I click manage, it takes me to my library, and no download option is present as it says "Forza Horizon
3 is part of a bundle."

 

I'm unable to download Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition on my PC, even though I am able to download it to my Xbox One. The same MS Account is logged in on both, and the game is listed as purchased in my account, yet the Windows store on Windows 10 displays
some weird things for the game, and the DLC packs. The DLC packs have Owned listed under them in the Ultimate Edition store page, but if I click into the pack page, it has a button stating Buy. If I then go back to the Ultimate Edition page, the DLC pack I
was just in changes from saying Owned to showing the pack price instead. It changes back to Owned, and that pack lists it's price instead. The error I get while trying to download Horizon 3 is "Try that again. Something went wrong. The error code is 0x80073CF9,
in case you need it." I've tried sfc /scannow, wsreset, and I've logged out of the store and logged back in. Nothing has changed the fact that my account is essentially broken for this game on Windows 10.

Would you mind typing Forza Horizon 3 within the search bar of the Windows store on your Windows PC and clicking the game? Once you do, you should see an Install button if you've pre-purchased it. Once you've searched the appropriate edition you own, navigate
back to your library through the Windows Store and see if the download button shows.

Hi, I too am having problems downloading Forza Horizon 3 on my Windows 10 PC. The PC is up to date, and has all app updates, has the anniversary update, and the drive I am installing on has 632GB free space.

I purchased and redeemed a digital code, on my XB1, for Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition. The pre-order downloaded OK on the XB1, and this evening at midnight it activated, and I can play it on the XB1 no problem.

However, for the past few days I have been unable to download the games on my PC. When I go to the Ultimate Edition Bundle, it says I own it, which I do, and I see a "Manage" button. If I go to the actual game item itself, I do not see an "Install" button,
but see a message "only available as part of a bundle".

Go into my Game Library, I can see Forza Horizon 3 is listed. Pressing the Download arrow icon, initiates a download, but the download always gets to 30MB, and stops with error code 0x80073CF9

I have checked my purchase history at account.microsoft.com, and Forza Horizon 3 isn't showing in my purchase history, even though I redeemed the digital purchase code on the 12th September, and downloaded FH3 Ultimate to my Xbox One straight after.

Surely the purchase history should show this? I suspect this is the problem. The Windows 10 Store app is checking the license, and even though the store says I own the Ultimate Edition, when I go to download it I suspect it's checking the purchase history,
and thinks I don't own it, giving the error.

Please can you look into this and fix ASAP.

Micro666, I believe that something else is playing havok with our downloads. I have Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate edition listed in my purchase history, and it has been charged to my card, so the payment is complete, yet I have the same issue you do. Forza Horizon
3 Ultimate Edition has a Manage button, and the Horizon 3 game listing says "Only available as part of a bundle", in addition to Buy buttons under the Ultimate Edition DLC packs. If I go to download the game through the library link, it will get to either
25.86 MB or 30MB, then display the same error. It doesn't matter whether I am trying to install it to my OS SSD, or my Game HDD.

I have read elsewhere, but can't remember exactly where, that there may be an issue with the PC Horizon pre-orders. If there is a pre-order issue, it could be causing our problems.

Miss Ghidorah, I can search for the game through the store, but every attempt to install it fails with error 80073CF9.

 

I have purchased FH3: Ultimate. I was only able to begin installation after installing the Windows 10 Anniversary update.

I had to find the game in the store, click manage and start the download. After downloading for 20 hours, my download stopped at 41GB. I paused and resumed the download in an attempt to get it going again and it restarted from zero. Now it won't download
past 30MB.

The downloaded data seems to be on my hard drive, it's just not being recognized by the downloader anymore...

Any advice?

 

You're lucky!! I have the anniversary update, and my pc and drivers are fully up to date. I can't even start the download, well I can by going to the Store, and to "My Library", but it downloads to 30MB, then stops with error 0x80073CF9.

No matter what I try I cannot install Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition. I redeemed a code on my XB1, and it's all working there, however looking at my purchase history on the MS website, FH3 is not shown?

Yet, in the Windows 10 Store, Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition is shown as being owned by me, as is the Standard Edition (part of the bundle), yet I have no install option (just a message "only available as part of a bundle").

I'm glad I have the game on the XB1, so was playing late last night, but I'd quite like the game to also work on my PC, for those times when the rest of my family are using the XB1 for something else.

 

I finally got Forza Horizon 3 downloading on my PC, but I had to reinstall Windows to get it to download.

If you can't see an install link under Forza Horizon 3, when you click to it through the Ultimate Bundle, then your install of Windows 10 might be "broken". Performing a reset might help resolve the issue, but it is time consuming, and will require the reinstall
of some of your programs (the Windows 10 apps, however, 'should' be reinstalled)

 

I'm not resetting my entire PC for this. I shouldn't have to. My install was a clean install of Windows 10 updated to the anniversary update. I', a developer and have literally hundreds of programs installed, and also over 114 Windows Store apps (both 8.1
and 10 apps).

It would take me many days to re-install all of my many applications, and get my PC configured to be "just right" again.

Also another reason for not wanting to reset my PC is that Windows Store apps are crap at backing up data. My family and I have a number of Windows Store games, that when the PC is reset will lost the game save data, as the game save data is stored within
the apps install dir.

No way I'm resetting.... Come on Microsoft, get it fixed

 

I should add that other games install just fine, just not Forza Horizon 3!!
