Forza Horizon 3- Cross Platform Download?

Hey there everyone, does anyone know where I can obtain the download for Forza Horzion 3 to put onto my desktop? Seeing that it was cross play I bought it for my XBox One but don't have it set up in my room at the moment, so I wanted to download the game
for PC first. I still can't seem to find where to download it on either the XBox or Microsoft websites in my accounts. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

can i play with a friend on a different console

Currently I don't think there's any cross platform games for xb1 and ps4. There was talk of this happening some time last year, but haven't seen any progress.

You can cross platform on windows 10 and xb1 with some of the new titles, like forza Horizon 3.

Did you buy digitally or on disc? If you bought it for Xbox on disc, unfortunately Play Anywhere does not apply.

If, however, you bought it digitally, make sure you are signed into the Windows Store (on Windows 10) on your PC with the same account that bought the game. Now, search for the game in the Store and it should let you simply download the game.

Forza Horizon 4 has PC/Xbox Cross Platform

if you browse all games in the Store on Xbox there is a Capabilities filter that lets you see which games have Cross Platform MP and which have Cross Platform Co-Op

Playstation currently doesn't allow cross platform play with Xbox yet.

As for playing against PC players, you will need a game that supports cross platform play.

Examples for such games are:

Minecraft (the one without the "Xbox One Edition" in the name, and the Windows 10 Minecraft version. Java Minecraft on PC won't work).
The Forza games on PC like Forza 7, Forza Horizon 3
Sea of Thieves
Gears of War 4
State of Decay 2

Most other games from other publishers (i.e. not Microsoft Game Studios) are probably unable to play cross platform. So you won't be able to play FIFA or Call of Duty with your PC friends.
