Forza Horizon 3 Complete Add-Ons Collection Does not add all the DLC like advertised

Same problem here.

I feel like I ended up purchasing the blizzard mountain/hot wheels expansion at essentially the regular retail price with this "complete add-ons" bundle. The VIP inclusion is what got me off the fence to buy this but now it feels like a bait and switch.

If this is indeed just a technical problem, they could give everyone who purchased the complete bundle free access to the standalone versions of the VIP, horn accelerator, and treasure map as a simple workaround.

just got of the phone with microsoft.

The problem cannot be solved by microsoft.

they offered me a return of the price i paid for the complete pack.

Microsoft states they can not solve the problem, the problem lies with teh developer (playground Games). because telling me in have to contact playground games and not having a solution they could only offer me a cash back.

i put the cash back on hold and will try to get a hold of playground games.

they will be the only one that can solve this.

i will let everbody know when they have a solution(or not)

Playground Games is a hard one to contact.

they do not have customer support themselves.

since they are connected with microsoft they will ask you to contact microsoft.

since micrsoft does not have a solution you can consider this pack broken and take a cash return as the best solution.

i wish it would be different but unfortunatley this is the only solution.

contact microsoft support, explain the situation, show them this tread of my adventure and you will have your money back.

it is a shame but hey. at least i had 9 days of back and forth with microsoft so you dont have to

The horn accelerator worked for me last night for the first time. I didnt do anything special just loaded the game normally and a message came up saying horn accelerator "finished downloading". Almost looks like they pushed an update to the horn accelerator
but i am not sure.

I am now just missing VIP and the treasure map and am a little more hopeful that someone is working on this.

 

Yes horn accelerator now works, like you im still waiting for vip and maps to function

Well looky here, more people in my situation as well. I can confirm i got the horn thingy too, it just popped up on my screen. Everything else are still gone but i had them installed but couldn't access it. I've contacted the MS Store support, also says
they cannot do anything and says i'm gonna ask the support in Forza forums. But now i've given up hope, answering a thread and making a support ticket, both with no answer at all.

Sad that i cannot ask for a refund in my order history. But gonna try to call support again and ask for refund.

 

my advice is contact a lawyer and sue them

they need to be held accountable

this is theft and lawyer will win case easy

Agreed that it is not fair. i understand your frustration.

Yesterday i recieved an awnser on my post @forza support:

"I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that this is a known issue and we are currently investigating. I am marking this ticket as closed and we will post an update to the support pages and forums once this matter
is resolved."

So if you want to blame someone it think ik should be forza(playground games).

kinda rude to just close my ticket as the problem is not resolved yet.

but for the peopole still waiting for their DLC. there is still hope.

to be honest it lasted to longe for me. so i got a refund and with that money i bought Forza Horizon 4. kind of a[Mod Removed-Profanity]solution as i could not enjoy forza Horizon
3 to the fullest. but it is like talking to a wall to Micrsoft and Playground Games

 

In there infinite wisdom i have been denied a refund for exactly the same problem , it is inherently unfair to include an item as part of a description and not supply said items or a fix , the many thousands ive spent over the years and the very first
time ive ever needed support. Ive removed my payment details and will be sticking to apple and ps4 in the future . Very dissspointed

i cannot imagine they can refuse a refund. i can imagine that the employee who helped you does not understand the problem. i have had multiple contact moments with different employees and some of them are not the smartest and it took me 30/40 minutes to
just explain what the problem is without any result. so i call again/start a new chat so eventually i found someone that is capable of understanding/solve this problem.

it would be great if an xbox moderator would reply on this tread and confess that this is an unsolvable problem for them and that they let you pay for things you dont get and that the only logical solution would be an excuse and a refund.

it is understandable that microsoft does not trow around refunds because that would open doors to a lot of scams. but if they do not refund your payment for this they would be the scammer.

i got a refund in the following way:

1. tel the employee taht you bought a huge add on pack and that you do not have acces to 3 of those add ons.

immediatly tell them that this is not a problem of having Xbox live gold or not and reinstalling the pack solves nothing.

2. tell them to go to account/xbox.com to check your buying history. give them the date and exact name of the pack that you bought. now they know that you bought the pack.

3. if you are in chat, send them this link: https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/p/f...ctie/9ng3t6pkkrsq?activetab=pivot:overviewtab if you are on the phone try to navigate them to this page(a lot harder as this pack is not
for sale anymore).

4. tell them to fold open the "in this Bundle" part of this webpage. now you can show in detail that you where promised the VIP Pack(top Left), treasure map(bottom left) and Horn accelerator(bottom left).

5. then tell them that more people had experience with this problem(maybe send the link to this tread) and that microsoft is not able to solve this and that the developer does not have proper support.

6. when they are not convinced you could tell them that when you visit the 3 missing pack in the store that it tells you "buy and become owner".

7. you now have proof that you should have gotten it from buying the pack and that you can not acces them.

Since microsoft can not give a solution (sending you to the developer is not a valid solution) they only have one option and that is a return of money.

8. if the employee does not agree tell them to ask there manager (they can not make this decision on their own)

9. employee still not agree? close chat/ hang up the phone. call back/open a new chat.

 

Try clearing the cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again. After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .
