FORZA HORIZON 2 OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED FOR FALL ON XBOX ONE & 360

Forza Horizon 2 has been officially confirmed by Turn10 and Playground Games for a Fall 2014 release.

The game was confirmed today for Xbox One and Xbox 360, along with news that the racer will include Forza Motorsport 5′s Drivatar Technology.
Its flagship car is the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán, which can be seen on the cover above, along with an all-new weather system.

Speaking with IGN, creative director
Ralph Fulton said “[Turn 10 and Playground] share this belief that we can create a true home for racing fans on Xbox One.”

He told the site that Forza Horizon 2 will take place in Southern Europe, a setting Fulton says will lend the racer, “incredible diversity,” and, “amazing vistas.” It’s set around a big music
festival, just like the first game.



This is going to be a BEAST Game Forza Horizon was amazing and fun Forza 5 Blew me away with the cars.

Probably a really easy answer. Two parts.

^^ None of the Forza games are backwards compatible so not point in moving the save to the cloud.

The only 2 Forza games that came out on both platforms are Forza Horizon 2 & Forza Horizon 2 The Fast & the Furious & each version is a separate game so your progress on the 360 version wont carry over to the xbox one version.

All your Forza stats are recorded in the Forza hub app

 

I wont be buying this. Forza 5 was ok but got really boring, really fast. Good news for the racing fans though

 

I hope they use separate developers for each version. I don't want a watered-down version for X1 because of the 360.

Hmmm... My feelings are that I already have Forza 5, why would I want H2? Probably won't end up getting it, but never know. Something could change my mind.

 

I'm really excited about this, Forza Horizon in my opinion was the best racing game on 360 and certainly the most fun I'd had in racing game since PGR4. I had Forza 4 at the same time, but Horizon plays completely differently and is more arcadey instead
of a sim.

I too have Forza 5, but by the time Horizon 2 is released I guess I will be nearly done with Forza 5 but I would definitely play both at the same time. Checking my stats on Forza 5 I've played 34 hours and only level 58, so I would say there is at least
another 100 hours gaming in it to go!

 

Woah come on guys Horizon is like the Fast and Furious version of Forza games. The only let down for me with Forza 5 is that its not as free as Horizon. Trust me, you will love it!

 

I had no interest in Forza 5 since they removed over 500 of the cars from the game and removed way too many tracks. However, Horizon 2 is sound good.

This is the first Forza game that will have weather.....FINALLY!! So yes I am excited for sure. I don't have the X1 so I will probably get this for the 360. Hopefully the map is MUCH larger than the first Horizon.

Can't wait to get my hands on the paint editor. I spend more time playing in the paint shop than racing some days. Happy it's going to both too, not sure when I'm upgrading.

 

In the last Horizon I managed to create an almost identical version of 1 of my old cars, a subaru Sti with Zero Sports body kit. The body kit in Horizon was the actual same 1 I had on my car, so I was well pleased!

I'm useless at the paint editor though, but love checking out other people's designs. I remember using a grim reaper that somebody had created on 1 of my Skylines which was awesome!

 

Horizon is completely different from the main FM series, for those who are skeptical. Horizon 2 will supposedly be 100% open-world with weather effects. That gets me a little hot & heavy.

 

i already bought burnout paradise and need for speed most wanted, i have no need for any other racing game...maybe another open world car game if it's good enough, and the focus is more on exploration and less on the actual racing aspect...
